Rotary Club of Pune Sport City is thrilled to announce the success of our preventive cervical cancer vaccination drive for girls at Gurukulam. It was truly inspiring to witness the community rally around such a vital cause. With generous support, we were able to provide crucial vaccinations to young girls, paving the way for a healthier future. We administered HPV vaccines to 42 girls 9-14 years old at Rs 2000 per vaccine and Typhoid vaccines to 70 boys for Rs 2385 each and a total project cost of Rs 250,950. This project was executed with 100% contribution by the Jivika Foundation. The beneficiaries are tribal children of nomads at Gurukulam Residential School in Chinchwad, Pune. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped spread the word. Your contributions were instrumental in making this initiative a remarkable success! Special thanks to our dedicated team, healthcare professionals, and the exceptional staff at Gurukulam for their unwavering support and hard work.
