• Rotary Club of Pune Sports City has a record of having a handicapped person as a Charter President Rtn.Niranjanbhai Pandya

• The club got five star status for excellent work in the year 2010-11.
• Rtn Brig Mohan Sethi was betowed "Best President" award in the year 2010-11.
• We have one ex- airhostess as our member.
• The club has 6 doctors out of which 4 are couples.
• Club has one member gratuated from Film Instiute of Telivision, Pune.
• Club has one scientist as a member.
• Our club has huge parking space which is a rare commodity in present scenario in Pune.  
• The club has given one District governor (Rtn Mahesh Kotbagi) in the year 2004-05.
• In the year 2002-03 ,our club received First ever District Trophy for successfully organizing mega charitable event. The club organised State Level Games for DISABELLED students at Balewadi Stadium,  more than 400 athletes participated. Lodging & boarding for said  athletes with over 600 support teachers/staff was arranged at  Balewadi complex for 3 days.
•  Rotary year 2002-03 was the first year when our club INDEPENDENTLY staged Dandiya -a Fund Raising Activity. In this year record 5000 +  participated in the event & the only year when entry gates were closed since the venue could not accommodate any more enthusiasts. Every year hold dandiya.
• At present over past 15 years, out of 25 chartered members only 4 are active in the club as of 2011.
• The application to RI, for admission of the club as a member was submitted to DG on 18th Nov, 1995 with 25 Charter Members, consisting:
