There is no proper procedure for disposal of two and four wheeler scrap. Since it comes under immovable property, owners often do not know how to dispose them. They often crowd the basements of residential societies and add to environmental waste. We devised a process to deal with this and tied up with Darshan motors for door to door collection of two and four wheeler scrap from residential societies at no charges. Infact the scrap dealer bought the scrap an paid the owner. He collected the RC book and offical documents and next day the scrap was crushed. One could visit the site personally and wittness this. Around 40-50 vehicles have been disposed off in this manner. Number of the scrap dealer has been shared on whatsapp groups with a large number of residential societies in Aundh who belong to the WAWA group.
