An innovative competency based training and up to 3 months mentoring of 4840 Middle and High school teachers in Government Aided, Municipal and Rural Schools in Pune and Raigad districts of the state of Maharashtra, India. The main objective is to enhance student engagement, core skills development and learning outcomes through the quality of teaching. Likely to directly impact 110,000 students from class 6-12 in 110 schools from June 2019 to June 2020. One day face to face training will be 3 months of mentoring. Partners: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) , RID 9800, RC Albert Park (Melbourne Aus) . Training to be conducted by ICEDC (Indian Career Education and Development Council). This prog is based on pilot batches conducted by RID 3131 through 17-18 with RC Sports City sponsoring two pilots earlier on. The project is delayed and may start only in June 19 after schools reopen after vacations
