Balkalyan Sanstha is an activity centre for special children located on University Road, Pune India. It was badly in need of an outdoor water station. The mushrooming of new construction and an construction of indoor stadium in vicinity resulted in disruption of water supply. Also, the corporation water supply was insufficient to provide water especially during summer months for the 4000 + children. New connection from the municipality was applied for, pipes were laid from road to site of the new water station. Overhead and underground tanks were constructed, pump was provided to boost the water to overhead tank and water filter was fitted. Nearly 4000 children from all over the city visit Bal Kalyan Sanstha for various activities.
