| Minutes of Meeting | Cyclothon 2024 was organised during 23rd Jan to 27th Jan. This was an unique initiative to spread awareness about orthopaedic disability. Stefan Voormans ( aged 52 years) physically challenged individual, paralyzed in his lower body as a result of an accident that he suffered in late twenties did hand cycling covering a distance of 510 km over a period of 5 days from Wai to Mumbai. Stefan stopped at Pune during this special drive and was hosted and supported by Rotary club Pune sports city. He met differently abled kids at Balkalyan and motivated them with his words and actions. In the evening he met sports city members and shared his thoughts on how to keep fighting and improving despite of tough situations. A true inspirer and motivator with humble and simple way of life ! All those who met him were blessed with his kindness and soft nature with determination. |
